Daniel S. Galan is a seasoned litigator with extensive experience representing clients in commercial disputes in both state and federal courts. His practice covers a broad range of matters, including Article 78 proceedings, quiet title actions for vehicles and property, business disputes, real property issues, zoning and land use matters, contract claims, merchant cash advances, stock and asset purchase agreements, liens, creditors’ rights, construction disputes, insurance coverage issues, legal malpractice, tax certiorari, Uniform Commercial Code matters, commercial evictions, and summary proceedings.

Mr. Galan has represented a diverse range of clients, from individuals and family-owned businesses to Fortune 500 companies, universities, municipalities, and housing authorities. He draws on his deep research and e-discovery experience to keep litigation costs proportionate to the value of the case.

Before joining Davidson Fink LLP, Mr. Galan practiced at several nationally recognized law firms. He earned his law degree from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University, where he served as Articles Editor for the Hofstra Labor and Employment Law Journal and completed externships with judges in the United States Bankruptcy Court and New York State Supreme Court.
