Daniel S. Galan is a seasoned attorney specializing in a wide array of commercial litigation in both state and federal courts. His expertise spans Article 78 proceedings, quiet title actions for vehicles and property, and various claims involving business disputes, real property, zoning, land use, contracts, merchant cash advances, stock and asset purchase agreements, liens, creditors’ rights, construction, insurance policies, legal malpractice, tax certiorari, the Uniform Commercial Code, commercial evictions, and summary proceedings.
Throughout his career, Mr. Galan has represented a diverse clientele, including individuals, family-run businesses, Fortune 500 companies, universities, municipalities, and housing authorities. He leverages his extensive research and e-discovery experience to ensure litigation costs remain proportionate to the value of the case.
Prior to joining Davidson Fink LLP, Mr. Galan worked at several nationally ranked law firms. He attended Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University where he served as an Articles Editor for the Hofstra Labor and Employment Law Journal and completed externships with judges in United States Bankruptcy Court and New York State Supreme Court.
